Up to 5 people

• 4 adults + light luggage: a compact (Clio, i20, MG3) is enough and stays economical
• 5 adults or bulky suitcases: go for a sedan or SUV (Dacia Duster, Citroën C3 Aircross) for boot space

6 to 7 people: the 7-seater is the answer

The Dacia Jogger (7 seats) is our most requested family car: 3 real rows, decent boot with 5 passengers, reasonable fuel consumption. For 7 adults with luggage, plan a roof box or travel light — or split across two city cars, sometimes cheaper.

The criteria that really matter

• Unlimited mileage: included on all our vehicles, essential for road trips
• Air conditioning: included — essential from June to September
• Child seat: free on the Premium plan, optional on Basic
• Automatic gearbox: available on several models (see automatics)
