Choose your plan before booking
Both Basic and Premium include unlimited mileage. Key differences include the security deposit and deductible. Compare both prices on the same vehicle page using identical dates and locations.
Basic: a card hold and a deductible
Basic includes insurance with a deductible and a security deposit held on a bank card. The deposit amount depends on the car. Check the assistance conditions and any charges, as well as the extras you select.
Premium: no security deposit or deductible on covered claims
Premium includes no deductible for claims covered by the contract, no security deposit, free 24/7 roadside assistance, a child seat on request and premium cleaning. Contractual exclusions still apply.
Do not confuse navigation equipment built into a vehicle with an optional GPS unit: check the vehicle equipment and booking extras rather than assuming everything is included.
Compare the full cost
- Compare the total rental period, not only the daily rate.
- Add only the extras you need.
- Check pickup and return fees for the selected locations.
- Distinguish the rental price, advance booking payment and any security deposit hold.
A no-deposit plan can be useful if you want to avoid a card hold; it does not necessarily have a lower rental price.
