Blue 2026 Renault Express in the city

The Express is Renault's combispace: a vehicle halfway between a family car and a van, derived from the second-generation Dacia Dokker and built in Tangier. A bold front end with LED light signature, an ergonomic dashboard with 17 storage spaces (54 litres), five real seats, a 2/3-1/3 bench and 800 litres of cargo in 5-seat mode rising to 3,000 litres with the bench folded. Renault Morocco offers it in three versions – Authentic, Equilibre, Techno – from 178,000 MAD, with the dCi 95 diesel and manual gearbox.

Fun & Run rents the Express for every stay where luggage is bulky: surfers and kitesurfers heading to Dakhla or Essaouira, families with pushchairs and trunks, hiking groups, house moves, equipment transport. Its sliding side door – the widest opening in its class – and low boot sill make loading easy, and its diesel uses barely 5 L/100 km.

The Express: the versatility of a combispace

Renault designed the Express not to look like a van: a bold front end with chrome grille and C-shaped LED light signature, curved bumpers, side protection. But its tall body (1.83 m), sliding side door with the widest opening in its class and low boot sill reveal its purpose: load fast and load a lot.

Inside, the ergonomic dashboard multiplies storage – 17 spaces in all, for 54 litres – and the 8-inch Easy Link screen mirrors Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The five seats are real adult seats, and the 2/3-1/3 bench folds to go from an 800-litre boot to a van-like 3,000 litres, with a flat floor to slide in boards, bikes or boxes.

On safety, the Express has six driver aids: stability control, hill start assist, blind-spot warning, front and rear parking aid, rear camera and cruise control/speed limiter.

Why rent an Express in Morocco

The Express is the answer when volume matters more than style: two surfers with three boards for Taghazout or Dakhla, a family with a double pushchair and cooler for two weeks at the beach, four hikers with packs and gear for the Atlas, or a flat move in Casablanca. Where a saloon forces choices, the Express takes everything.

Its dCi 95 diesel is made for this: 240 Nm to drive loaded without effort and 5 to 6 L/100 km in real use, i.e. over 900 km per tank of diesel. The high driving position and large glass areas make city driving easy, and the rear camera and sensors keep manoeuvres simple despite the size.

Against a 7-seat Dacia Jogger, the Express favours cargo volume over extra seats; against a saloon, it offers three to four times the boot for an equivalent daily rate. It is the "Swiss army knife" of our fleet.

FAQ

Can I fit surfboards or bikes in the Express?

Yes, that is its speciality: folding the 2/3 bench gives a flat floor over 1.80 m long for boards up to 6 ft, or two bikes upright with wheels removed. With five aboard and the bench up, the 800 litres take four large suitcases and bags.

Is the Express comfortable for five adults?

Yes: five real seats with exceptional headroom and a wide bench. The sliding door eases rear access in tight car parks. It is less insulated than a saloon on the motorway, but very comfortable for a vehicle of this type.

What consumption with a loaded Express?

The dCi 95 stays very frugal: 5 to 5.5 L/100 km empty, 6 to 6.5 L/100 km loaded on the motorway. With 50 litres of diesel, expect 800 to 1,000 km of range.

Is there an automatic Express?

No, the Express is offered in Morocco only with a 6-speed manual. For big volume with an automatic, see the Kia Carens or Škoda Kodiaq in 5-seat mode.

Can I use the Express for a house move?

Yes, for your personal belongings: 3,000 litres, flat floor, sliding door and low sill make it an excellent urban moving vehicle. Commercial goods transport is not covered by our insurance.

What deposit for the Renault Express?

On the Basic plan a pre-authorisation is taken on your credit card and released on return; the amount is shown on the vehicle page. On Premium, no deposit and no excess.
