The Logan is the saloon that put Dacia on the map in Morocco back in 2005, and it is still built a few kilometres from Casablanca at the Somaca plant. Its third generation, facelifted for the 2026 model year with the brand's new identity, keeps the recipe that made it a hit: a 4.40 m four-door body, a 528-litre boot – almost twice that of a city car – and a rear bench where three adults travel without rubbing shoulders.
At Fun & Run the Logan comes in two versions: the manual "Logan" and the "Logan Automatique" fitted with the 1.0 TCe 100 hp and a CVT gearbox, new to the Dacia Morocco catalogue for 2026. If four of you land at Mohammed V with four large suitcases, it is quite simply the cheapest rental that will take you to Marrakech, Fez or Agadir without playing Tetris in the boot.
- 528 L boot
Four large hold suitcases without folding the bench; wide opening and low sill for effortless loading. - 3 real adults in the back
2.65 m wheelbase: rear knee room is that of a family saloon, not a stretched city car. - Manual or CVT
1.0 TCe 100 hp with manual or continuously variable automatic gearbox, new for 2026 in Morocco. - 10" Media Display
10" touchscreen with smartphone mirroring depending on trim, Bluetooth radio and USB-C as standard. - ESP, brake assist, Isofix
Front and side airbags, stability control with hill start assist, rear parking sensors, full-size spare wheel. - Frugal despite its size
Around 5.5 L/100 km combined for the TCe 100; 50 L tank for roughly 850 km of range.

The 2026 Logan: what has changed
Launched in 2021 on the CMF-B platform, the third Logan is the first to share nothing with the old Romanian-derived Renault base. The 2026 facelift brings it the new Dacia face: pixel-effect grille framing the Dacia Link emblem, LED light signature, new bumpers and redesigned wheels. The silhouette keeps its classic three-box saloon profile, with a boot well separated from the cabin – a real security asset for luggage.
Inside, the dashboard mirrors the Sandero's: 3.5-inch TFT or 7-inch digital cluster, 10-inch Media Display touchscreen as an option or depending on trim, Bluetooth radio with USB-C, adjustable steering wheel and centre console. Practicality remains with the 1/3-2/3 split folding bench, letting you slide a surfboard or a dismantled bike into the boot.
The big mechanical news, as on the Sandero, is the arrival of a CVT automatic paired with the 1.0 TCe 100 hp. Until now the petrol Logan was manual-only in Morocco.
Why the Logan is the best deal for travelling as a group of four
The maths is simple: the Logan costs barely more per day than a Sandero, but the boot grows from 410 to 528 litres and rear space gains several centimetres. For a family or two couples arriving at Mohammed V airport with hold luggage, it is the only car in the economy category that spares you a suitcase on your lap.
On the road the Logan benefits from its long wheelbase: stable and comfortable on the A7 to Marrakech (2h30) or the A2 to Fez and Meknes (3h), with a soft suspension that soaks up speed bumps and secondary roads. The full-size spare wheel – not a space-saver – is reassuring on long legs to Ouarzazate or Agadir.
Finally, the Logan remains a discreet car in Morocco, where it is everywhere as a taxi and company car: stress-free parking, parts available anywhere and a Dacia network in every city.
Logan or Sandero, Logan or Duster?
Choose the Sandero if there are two of you and you mostly stay in town: 30 cm shorter, it parks more easily. Choose the Logan as soon as you are three or four with luggage, or if you plan long legs: the daily premium is small and comfort clearly higher.
Against the Duster, the Logan is lower and more economical, but its saloon ground clearance is not made for Atlas or desert tracks. If your itinerary includes Merzouga, the Dadès gorges or unpaved roads, move up to the Duster; if you stay on the main road network, the Logan will do the same trip for less.
2026 Logan engines in Morocco
Dacia Morocco offers the New Logan in three trims (Essential, Expression, Journey) from 139,000 MAD, with three engines: TCe 100 manual, TCe 100 CVT and dCi 95 diesel. We rent both petrol versions.
- 1.0 TCe 100 – boîte manuelle — Version rented by Fun & Run : Petrol, Manual, 100 hp, ≈ 5.5 L/100 km. Our "Dacia Logan". The turbo three-cylinder moves the saloon easily even when loaded, and the well-spaced manual keeps consumption low on the long national roads of the south.
- 1.0 TCe 100 – automatique CVT — Version rented by Fun & Run : Petrol, CVT automatic, 100 hp, ≈ 5.7 L/100 km. Our "Dacia Logan Automatique". The continuously variable gearbox with ECO mode makes driving relaxing in town and on the motorway. It is the cheapest automatic saloon in our fleet.
- 1.5 dCi 95 : Diesel, Manual, 95 hp / 220 Nm, ≈ 4 L/100 km. The very frugal diesel remains the favourite of Moroccan taxis and high-mileage drivers. We don't offer it for rent: over one or two weeks, petrol is simpler and more pleasant.

FAQ
How many suitcases fit in the Logan's boot?
The 528-litre boot takes four large hold suitcases (75 cm) or three large plus two cabin bags, without folding the bench. It is the largest boot in our economy category, ahead of the Sandero (410 L) and Clio (391 L).
Is the Logan comfortable for 5 people on the motorway?
Yes for 4 adults and a child, or 5 adults on a two- to three-hour trip. The bench is wide and legroom generous thanks to the 2.65 m wheelbase. For five adults with lots of luggage over several days, a 7-seater (Dacia Jogger) will be more comfortable.
What is the difference between "Logan" and "Logan Automatique"?
Same saloon, same 1.0 TCe 100 hp petrol engine. The Logan is a manual, the Logan Automatique has a CVT (two pedals, no clutch). The automatic costs a few dirhams more per day and uses barely more fuel.
Can the Logan drive on dirt tracks?
Graded, well-levelled tracks (hotel or beach access) are fine at reduced speed, but the Logan is a saloon: unpaved mountain roads or desert tracks are excluded by our rental terms. For those routes, book the Duster.
Can I pick up the Logan in Casablanca and return it in Agadir?
Yes. Delivery in Casablanca and at Mohammed V airport is free; returning in Agadir, Marrakech, Rabat or Tangier is possible with a one-way fee shown at booking. Mileage stays unlimited for the whole trip.
Is the rented Logan really the 2026 model?
Our Logan fleet consists of third-generation units, renewed regularly with Dacia Morocco deliveries. We book a "Logan or similar" category: if unavailable, you get a saloon or compact of equivalent or higher size, never a lower category.
