The Grand i10 Sedan is the three-box version of the Grand i10, designed by Hyundai for markets where a separate boot matters as much as price. In Morocco it has found its audience among families and professionals: only 3.99 m long, yet a 402-litre boot – more than a Clio or a Sandero – and a real rear bench with dedicated air-conditioning vents. The 2023 facelift brought a wider grille, LED daytime lights and a two-tone cabin with an 8-inch touchscreen.
Hyundai Morocco offers it in 2026 in two trims, Attractive (162,900 MAD) and Inventive (174,900 MAD), both with the 83 hp 1.2 Kappa and an AMT automated manual gearbox. That is our fleet version: the cheapest small automatic saloon at Fun & Run, perfect for a stay of four between Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech when the suitcases need to travel in a closed boot.

A real saloon in 3.99 m
The Grand i10 Sedan was designed to offer a separate boot without exceeding four metres: the sloping roofline, hexagonal chrome grille and boomerang LED daytime lights give it the look of a larger saloon. The 2023 facelift added LED-effect tail lights linked by a chrome strip and new wheels.
Inside, the two-tone cabin (black and copper or beige) is dominated by a floating 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; there is push-button start and a wireless charger on the Inventive trim. Rear air-conditioning vents, legroom and the 402-litre boot make it the roomiest car in our economy automatic category.
Hyundai claims over 30 safety features: electronic stability control (ESC) with vehicle stability management (VSM), ABS, airbags, anti-theft alarm, rear camera displayed on the audio screen and rear view monitor.
Who is the Grand i10 Sedan for?
It is the car for families of four who want an automatic without moving up a category: hold suitcases go in the closed boot, children get their own rear vents, and the footprint remains a city car's for parking in Casablanca or Rabat. It also appeals to business travellers who prefer a saloon's image to a small hatchback's.
The 83 hp 1.2 and AMT are made for town and national roads; on the A7 motorway to Marrakech the Grand i10 holds 120 km/h with four people, consuming around 6 L/100 km. For long, heavily loaded trips, the Dacia Logan Automatique (528 L, 100 hp) remains the punchier alternative.
Compared with our five-door i10, the Grand i10 Sedan adds 33 cm, 150 litres of boot and an automatic gearbox: a small daily premium for a real gain in space.

- 1.2 Kappa 83 AMT — Version rented by Fun & Run : Petrol, AMT automated manual, 83 hp / 113.8 Nm, ≈ 5.5 L/100 km. Our fleet configuration. The AMT is a robotised manual: it drives like an automatic (two pedals) but shifts a little slower than a CVT; easing off the throttle slightly during upshifts makes them seamless.
- Grand i10 5 portes (Nios) : Petrol, Manual / AMT, 83 hp, ≈ 5.3 L/100 km. The hatchback version exists in other markets. In Morocco, Hyundai offers the New i10 (5-door) instead, also in our fleet with a manual gearbox.

FAQ
What is an AMT gearbox and how do I drive it?
An AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) is a manual gearbox whose clutch and shifts are electronically controlled. You drive with two pedals and a P-R-N-D lever like an automatic. Shifts are a little more noticeable than with a CVT: ease off the accelerator slightly during shifts for a perfectly smooth drive.
Grand i10 Sedan or Dacia Logan?
Both are economical automatic saloons. The Grand i10 Sedan is shorter (3.99 m vs 4.40 m), easier to park and slightly cheaper; the Logan offers a bigger boot (528 L vs 402 L), more power (100 hp) and a smoother CVT. For four with medium luggage the Grand i10 is enough; with big luggage or long roads, prefer the Logan.
How many suitcases fit in the boot?
402 litres: three medium hold suitcases or two large ones plus a cabin bag. The boot is closed and separate from the cabin, keeping luggage out of sight during stops.
Is the air conditioning effective in the back?
Yes, it is one of the Grand i10 Sedan's assets: dedicated rear vents, rare in this class, keep passengers comfortable even in Marrakech's 40 °C summers.
Is the rented Grand i10 the 2026 model?
