The MG5 is MG's family saloon, facelifted in 2025 with a tauter new front end, slim LED headlights and a completely redesigned dashboard built around a 12.3-inch digital cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen. At 4.60 m long, it offers the roominess and 406-litre boot of a larger saloon, with equipment rarely seen at this price: 360° camera, electric sunroof, two-tone upholstery. MG Morocco sells it in a single Elite trim at 195,900 MAD with the 110 hp 1.5 petrol and a CVT automatic.
Fun & Run rents the MG5 as a petrol automatic. It is the saloon in our fleet that offers the most equipment for the rate: ideal for a business stay, a couple or a family of four wanting a comfortable, connected automatic between Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech, without the budget of an Accent or a C4.

The facelifted MG5: refined simplicity
The 2025 facelift gave the MG5 a bolder front end: a wide grille with a three-dimensional pattern, slim LED headlights linked by a light signature, sculpted bumper. The flowing saloon profile leads the eye to a short rear deck with LED lights; 16-inch alloys and the sunroof complete the silhouette.
The cabin was completely reworked: horizontal dashboard, configurable 12.3-inch digital cluster, floating 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, flat-bottomed sports steering wheel, two-tone leatherette upholstery. The 360° camera shows a bird's-eye view for parking, and automatic climate control is standard.
On safety, the MG5 scores five C-NCAP stars with multiple airbags, ESP, brake-force distribution, cornering brake control, hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring and Isofix anchors.
Why the MG5 for your stay
The MG5 is the "smart" saloon in our fleet: for a rate close to a Logan Automatique's, it offers 20 cm more, dual digital screens, a 360° camera and a sunroof. Four adults travel comfortably, the 406-litre boot takes three large suitcases and the CVT makes Casablanca traffic relaxing.
On the motorway, the 110 hp 1.5 holds 120 km/h quietly; real-world consumption sits around 7 L/100 km, about 600 km per tank. In town, the 360° camera and sensors make parking a 4.60 m saloon as easy as a city car.
Against the Logan, the MG5 is bigger and far better equipped; against the Hyundai Accent, it is cheaper but less powerful with a smaller boot. It is the best equipment-to-price ratio among our automatic saloons.

MG Morocco simplified the range: a single Elite trim, 110 hp 1.5 petrol with CVT automatic, 195,900 MAD. Our fleet matches this configuration exactly.

MG5 or Dacia Logan Automatique?
Both are automatic family saloons. The Logan has a bigger boot (528 L vs 406 L) and a slightly lower rate; the MG5 is longer, more powerful (110 hp vs 100) and much better equipped (dual screens, 360° camera, sunroof, auto climate). For equipment and comfort, MG5; for maximum boot space, Logan.
Is the rented MG5 the facelifted model?
Our MG5 fleet is renewed with MG Morocco deliveries and includes the facelifted version shown here (dual-screen dashboard). We book an "MG5 or similar" category: if unavailable, you get an equivalent automatic saloon.
How much luggage fits in the MG5?
The 406-litre boot takes three large hold suitcases or two large and two cabin bags; the bench folds for long items.
Is MG reliable?
