The Magnite is Nissan's urban SUV designed for emerging markets, facelifted in 2024 with a new honeycomb grille with chrome inserts, L-shaped "Light Saber" LED daytime lights, automatic LED headlights and gradient-pattern tail lights. At 3.99 m long with 205 mm of ground clearance, it combines a city car's footprint with an adventurer's stance, and roof rails rated for 50 kg. Nissan Morocco offers it from 149,900 to 199,900 MAD in four trims (Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna) with the 100 hp 1.0 turbo three-cylinder, manual or CVT.

Fun & Run rents the Magnite as a turbo petrol manual. It is a compact SUV surprisingly well equipped for its class: 8-inch screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7-inch TFT cluster, Around View Monitor 360° camera, six airbags and automatic climate control. Ideal for a couple or small family wanting an SUV's high seating and a city car's consumption.

  • Wireless 8" screen

The new Magnite: bold from every angle

The 2024 facelift toughened up the Magnite: an octagonal honeycomb grille framed by chrome inserts, L-shaped LED daytime lights dropping into the bumper, automatic LED headlights, gradient-pattern tail lights and two-tone 16-inch alloys. Front and rear skid plates, black wheel arches and functional roof rails give it the look of a real adventurer crossover, with an unusual 205 mm of ground clearance under 4 m.

The driver-oriented cabin focuses on technology: an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch TFT digital cluster with changing themes, an Around View Monitor 360° camera showing the car from above, a wireless charger and, on the Tekna trim, two-tone leather seats and a leather multifunction steering wheel. The cooled glovebox and air purifier are rare touches at this price.

Nissan fitted the Magnite with six airbags (front, side and curtain) from the base trim, VDC dynamic control, traction control, hill start assist and tyre pressure monitoring.

Why the Magnite for your stay

The Magnite is the SUV in our economy category that goes furthest off the main roads: its 205 mm of ground clearance swallows Casablanca's speed bumps, broken country roads and graded tracks to beaches or guesthouses. Its 100 hp 1.0 turbo has the torque for Rif or Atlas climbs, and its consumption remains a city car's.

In town it parks like a small car thanks to its 3.99 m and 360° camera, while offering a high driving position and good visibility. With four aboard and medium luggage, the 336-litre boot is enough; the 60/40 bench frees 690 litres for a surfboard or a bike.

Against the Geely GX3 Pro, the Magnite is more powerful (turbo), better equipped and taller; against the Renault Kardian, it is petrol and a little shorter. The "Japanese" small SUV of our economy fleet.

The Magnite in Morocco in 2026

Nissan Morocco offers the Magnite with the 100 hp 1.0 turbo in 5-speed manual or X-Tronic CVT automatic, in Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna trims, from 149,900 to 199,900 MAD. We rent the manual version.

  • 1.0 Turbo 100 BVM5 — Version rented by Fun & Run : Petrol, 5-speed manual, 100 hp / 160 Nm, 5.2 L/100 km. Our fleet version. The turbo gives the little three-cylinder compact-car torque: easy merging, hills without downshifting, and city-car consumption.
  • 1.0 Turbo 100 X-Tronic CVT : Petrol, CVT automatic, 100 hp / 152 Nm, ≈ 5.5 L/100 km. The automatic version in the catalogue. For a small automatic SUV at Fun & Run, see the Hyundai Creta or MG ZS.

FAQ

Is the Magnite a 4x4?

No, it is a two-wheel-drive urban SUV. Its 205 mm ground clearance – the highest among our small SUVs – allows graded tracks and rough roads; off-roading is excluded by our terms. For tracks, prefer the Dacia Duster.

Is 100 hp from a 1.0 enough?

Yes: the turbo delivers 160 Nm from low revs, giving the Magnite compact-car pick-up. It holds 120 km/h on the motorway with four people and climbs passes without strain. Real-world consumption sits around 6 L/100 km.

How much luggage fits in the Magnite?

The 336-litre boot takes two large hold suitcases and a cabin bag. The 60/40 bench folds to reach 690 litres, and the roof rails support 50 kg for a roof box.

Is the rented Magnite the facelifted 2024+ model?

Our Magnite fleet consists of the facelifted version shown here (honeycomb grille, L-shaped LED lights), as a 1.0 turbo manual, renewed with Nissan Morocco deliveries. We book a "Magnite or similar" category.

Do you have an automatic Magnite?

Our Magnite has a 5-speed manual. For a small automatic SUV, book the Hyundai Creta, MG ZS or automatic Dacia Duster.

What deposit for the Nissan Magnite?

On the Basic plan, one of the lowest pre-authorisations among our SUVs is taken on your credit card and released on return; the amount is shown on the vehicle page. On Premium, no deposit and no excess.
