New blue 2026 Citroën C3 in a pine-lined car park

With over 5.6 million units sold since 2002, the C3 is Citroën's best-seller, and its fourth generation, launched in 2024, radically changes style: a small-SUV silhouette 1.57 m tall, horizontal bonnet, new oval logo, three-tier LED light signature and protected wheel arches. Citroën Morocco sells it in 2026 as an 82 hp 1.2 petrol with manual gearbox (You and Plus trims) and a 110 hp 48 V hybrid 1.2 with automatic, from 149,900 MAD – the lowest entry price among European city cars in Morocco.

Fun & Run offers the C3 as a manual petrol. What sets it apart from our other city cars is comfort: Citroën Advanced Comfort suspension with hydraulic cushions, thick-foam seats, a driving position raised by 10 cm and ground clearance that makes you forget Casablanca's speed bumps. For an urban and suburban stay for two or three, it is our "cocoon" city car.

A C3 like no other

The fourth C3 drops its predecessor's curves and Airbumps for a mini-SUV stance: horizontal bonnet, vertical front end carrying Citroën's new oval logo, three-tier hook-shaped LED light signature, widened wheel arches and black plastic protection. At 1.57 m tall it offers 10 cm more seat height and commanding visibility, while length stays at a compact 4.01 m.

The cabin introduces the C-Zen Lounge concept: horizontal fabric-trimmed dashboard, small flat-bottomed steering wheel and a digital head-up display replacing the traditional cluster; the 10.25-inch touchscreen (Plus trim) hosts wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Advanced Comfort high-density foam seats and progressive hydraulic cushion suspension deliver the comfort the brand is known for.

Driver aids are at compact-car level: autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist, cruise control, rear camera with sensors and six airbags depending on trim.

Why the C3 for your stay in Casablanca

Casablanca's streets are not kind to suspensions: speed bumps, cobbled centre, patched tarmac. The C3 is the city car in our fleet that smooths them out best, thanks to its hydraulic cushions and raised ground clearance. Its high driving position is reassuring in dense traffic and makes parking easier, helped by the rear camera.

At 4.01 m with a 310-litre boot, it carries two or three people and their suitcases for a weekend in El Jadida, Rabat or Essaouira; the 82 hp engine is intended for national roads and urban trips rather than long, loaded motorway runs. If you want more power or an automatic, look at the Clio or the Sandero Automatique.

Distributed by Sopriam, the C3 benefits from a dense Citroën network in Morocco; our units are serviced there and checked before every rental.

The C3 in Morocco in 2026: petrol or hybrid

Citroën Morocco offers the New C3 as an 82 hp 1.2 petrol manual (You 149,900 MAD, Plus 169,900 MAD) and a 110 hp 1.2 Hybrid automatic (Plus, from 205,900 MAD). We rent the petrol manual.

  • 1.2 PureTech 82 – manuelle — Version rented by Fun & Run : Petrol, Manual, 82 hp, ≈ 5.2 L/100 km. Our fleet version. The naturally aspirated three-cylinder is smooth and adequate in town and on national roads; on the motorway it holds 120 km/h with planned overtaking.
  • 1.2 Hybrid 110 – automatique ë-DCS6 : 48 V mild-hybrid petrol, ë-DCS6 automatic, 110 hp, ≈ 4.7 L/100 km. The top version, 48 V turbo hybrid with dual-clutch automatic. For an automatic city car in our fleet, see the Clio Automatique, Sandero Automatique or Kia Picanto.

FAQ

Is the rented C3 really the new generation?

Yes, our fleet consists of the fourth-generation C3 (2024+), recognisable by its mini-SUV silhouette and three-tier LED lights. We book a "C3 or similar" category: if unavailable, you get an equivalent city car.

Where are the gauges? I don't see a conventional cluster.

The New C3 uses a digital head-up display: speed and key information are projected on a blade above the small steering wheel, in your line of sight. You get used to it in minutes and it is safer, as your eyes stay on the road.

How much luggage fits in the C3?

The 310-litre boot takes two medium hold suitcases and a cabin bag, or three cabin bags. The bench folds for long items. For four large suitcases, prefer a Logan or an SUV.

Can the C3 handle rough roads?

Better than most city cars: its raised ground clearance and Advanced Comfort suspension absorb potholes and speed bumps. Unpaved tracks remain excluded by our terms; for those, choose a Duster or a Kardian.

Do you have an automatic C3?

Our C3 is a manual. For an automatic city car of similar size, book the Renault Clio Automatique, Dacia Sandero Automatique or MG3; for a small automatic Citroën SUV, the C3 Aircross.

What deposit for the Citroën C3?

On the Basic plan, one of the lowest pre-authorisations in the fleet is taken on your credit card and released on return; the amount is shown on the vehicle page. On Premium, no deposit and no excess.
