Licenses accepted at Fun & Run

  • Moroccan license: accepted
  • European license (EU/EEA, Latin characters): accepted as is for a tourist stay
  • British license (photocard): accepted as is
  • American / Canadian license: accepted for a tourist stay; an International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended as a complement
  • International Driving Permit (IDP): accepted, always together with your original national license
  • License in a non-Latin alphabet (Arabic from outside Morocco, Chinese, Russian…): an IDP is required in addition

Conditions common to all licenses

  • License held for at least 1 year
  • Minimum driver age: 21
  • The license must be valid for the entire rental period
  • Additional driver: same conditions, declared on the contract

Good to know for foreign residents

For a short tourist stay, your foreign license in Latin characters is sufficient. If you settle in Morocco long term, Moroccan regulations provide for a license exchange after residence is established — with no impact on a tourist rental.

Documents at handover: license + passport/ID + credit card in the driver's name. Details in our terms and conditions and FAQ.
